My mom had an ex-tenant who took over her property every time a tenant moved out he would move back in. So she had to evict him over and over again. He removed wiring, plumbing, windows, and anything he could sell. When does it become a criminal matter? It cost her thousands to restore it before she could rent it every time.

It's an absolute joke someone can make a claim & have no requirement to provide supporting evidence.

Where I grew up, you couldn't rent the house out unless you did it through the right channels in person as the owner through the city. Anything else is illegal.

Takes a few minutes to contact the rates department and the local council that issues Rates Notices. What a litteral "Cop Out". And boy, are they good for that.

That is BS. You have a title to the property. The attorneys wrote the laws so they can have lots of clients. Just write the law like Florida just did.
