Not just reading, but commit to lifelong learning. That can be reading, online courses, but most importantly, finding good mentors and finding good role models you can learn from.

Yes, the best advice here is "Dont't be a follower, be a student"

I agree. There are lifetimes wasted on something that could have been avoided by reading the life of someone - or even the lives of 10 different people - living the life you're going to live, and learning from their mistakes. But people who are going to live a life wasted never listen to advice, you cannot stop the wreckage, this is something I've learned. Bad readers are bad listeners as well.

In my opinion, 'Think And Grow Rich' is the best book to read because Napoleon Hill interviewed and analyzed the lives of hundreds of wealthy and extremely successful men of his time, identified what qualities and actions made them all successful and then presented it all in his book. I’m forever indebted to Andrew Carnegie and Napoleon Hill-the book has completely changed my mindset and life! I would highly recommend reading it at least 3 times! It took me a year or more to fully comprehend the concept and grasp a true understanding of the “secret” NH was referring to time and again in the book. This is why it is advised to read it at least 3 times. God bless you all-I wish you a fulfilled life full of endless success and happiness!

It's true, I started reading more than 1 and a half year ago and now I've completed 35 books and 4 are in progress. Reading changed the way of my thinking. Now even in noisy environment it's less bothering when i read...

This is true. If you want to stay ahead of your peers. Just read other people’s ideas and execute the most relevant. If your peers aren’t reading. You will be better

Been reading for a bit, recently i read a SciFi fantasy in the inheritance cycle. One thing in it is starting to help me recently. Be like a pond surrounded by a battle, see whats going on but don't let people disturbe you. Pretty good advice for me lately.

As an introvert person who loves to read, I would like to say that certain vocations, like business requires one quality, to have good contacts with quality people, and keep those relationships strong. One can never be a success by lone effort. Now, being an introvert I am not much good at it, thus not a success.

Don't be a follower, be a student. Wow, it hits home! With how polarised our societies are these days… people tend to follow who fits their narrative the best than learn what is true and what is right (although I get that this is often subjective)
