John Parrish of Burlington said he was shocked to watch the dashcam video of his 2016 Corvette Z06, racing through the streets.
"No laws were technically broken. I got the vehicle back, so it's not like it was stolen or wrecked or anything like that," Parrish said.
It's who took it that was the most surprising. Parrish believes two employees of Modern Chevrolet of Burlington took his car on two different high-speed test drives while the car was in the shop getting work done.
He didn't know about it until he watched the footage back.

I swear it's true. I used to get paid to" blow out the carbon" on corvettes in the 1980's. The customers were delighted upon how well these cars ran after a " good spirited" test drive. Tuning is one thing. Running an engine as it's designed to be run, is just as important. This cat owner should be happy his car was tested properly.

Depending on what is being fixed they will and need to drive it. Dudes got a car he doesnt know how to work on and doesnt know what goes into working on it. No story here unless they go out to eat or shop in it. Doing a quick pull is probably testing the car.
