If yu have plenty of fire arrows it's makes killing those birds 10x easier, just shoot the barrel they carry before they take off.

I think I found 2 of these in quick succession ealry on in a spellblade playthrough that I started but never finished. I probably sold one not knowing how rare it is, and I don't think I've found one since

You can farm them from the bird that are on the route Gostoc tells you to take. They are still annoying but they dont have explosives.

400 hours and I’m just hearing about this. Never got it going through stormveil the first and only time. I just always avoided the birds because they are so annoying to deal with.

I swear if we managed in the past to have trained haws or even crows to attack in swarms full of birds with talons to stab and cut, even thr Maori of new Zealand had they not extinguished the moa and haast eagle by consequence and have this idea in mind we could have had this in real life which would have been cool seeing a haast eagle with swords in it's claws against british sailors

Well I have maxed out the moonveil and it’s also a beast the charge can do up to 1400 damage but it does take a minute to get but if you do it’s worth it

Got one by sheer luck first go through of the castle then came back to farm for another one to duel wield n only had to kill the 4 hawks there 3 times over

Can’t believe the item I got the first time I killed one of these things and regarded it as junk is one of the rarest items in the game, well still not convinced it’s any good really.

I got the noble slender sword and it’s drop rate is 0.5% I didn’t know that at first tho
