Why does everyone speak in such generalities? Why does she have to be waiting for another man? She may have just never wanted to be married. Getting married just for the kids isn’t a good reason either. A father can be a father without being someone’s husband.

In that situation you just try to stay as safe as possible but u just have to accept the fact that u gunna die eventually but try not to no time soon. I no longer want to marry my daughter mom, but definitely wish she realizes she will never replace me being my daughter father. She acts like she hates my guts, and that she's being a mother alone and that simply isn't her reality. She does any and everything to keep me out my daughter life, yet supposedly getting married to another man and want him to raise my daughter as his own, she even had the nerve to send me screenshots of their conversations about how he will step up to be her daddy. SMH.

Yes you can. I had a child with a immature male who refused to be a man and be a father to his child. I never asked him for a single dime, just to do what he could when he could but most of all give love, acknowledgment and attention. He refused on every level. I sucked it up and held it down on my own with the help of family. I never even took him for child support. Through God’s grace I met an amazing man who loves me and my baby as his own. We wed and 12yrs later we have an amazing family and my baby has an amazing father. I couldn’t help the fact that coward chose to not honor his responsibility and be a father, but I am grateful to the King who had it in his heart to and did.
