The same thing happen to me after my daughter died in tragic accident. I went onto speak at various HS about making good choices and I also facilitated a support group for parents who lost a child. ❤

Perhaps having your son dying removed that anxiety because once you survive that, nothing else can be that horrific? I’m so sorry for your loss.

Awww - I’m so proud of you Dr Hoeflinger. I struggle with the exact same things. I’ve jumped from perfectly good airplanes, parasailing, zip lined from mountain tops & traveled - done lots of things but have panic attacks. I feel like I need to be away from people to feel at peace. Live in a less crowded area surrounded by the woods or nature just want room to breathe. I understand how it feels. Take care God Bless

God turns bad things into good when you seek him.My boyfriend of 20 years unexpectedly passed away on my couch.I was devastated when i went to wake him up for work.I couldn't laugh or smile for 6 months and cried every night on the way home from work.A customer handed me a bible and it changed my life forever.I never realized how important gods words in the bible were untill i read it.Jesus gave me his peace like i never felt in my life.He washed me clean and took away all the guilt and sadness.Thank you Jesus for saving a sinner like me ❤

After the death of my son, I was able to help coordinate a bereaved parents group, became a partner in a charity for children, socialized many assistance and therapy dogs. We were also very active in the raising of his child. I understand what you are saying. Our lives have been deeply affected. Hello from Maumee.

There was a Porsche accident a week back in Pune,india where a boy of 17 killed Two people.the whole family has been arrested.the boy was drunk.
