I agree Dan, as a second language learner of English I can say that revising the basics over and over again has helped to get to a really high level because eventually those basics became second nature what led my brain to practice the next things and master them.

Iāve only got a high school education. At 53 y/o Iāve been having a curiosity in biology, so I think I will be starting with books at the high school level. Also, Iāve done nursing assistant work, so Iāll use those books, too. Nursing assistant work is at the bottom of the totem pole in the nursing field. Just above an orderly. This in line with your statements as far as starting with the fundamentals.
