It depends on what you're stacking for - if you're looking to get the most metal for cash I'd go gold shot or larger bars. If you want to spend your gold and use it directly as money, goldbacks are the way imo

It's incredible how many people in the comments miss the point of these. Of course, it would make no sense to stack them as they are meant for transactions. If you are in one of the states and have local businesses that take them at or near the exchange rate, why wouldn't you use them over fiat?

Never knew goldbacks existed. You learn something new everyday.

The artwork is cool. I may buy a couple for the novelty at some point but not very likely.

Ive collected a set for every state just for the art. Yes to stack them you would pay 3600 to 4000 dollars per oz of gold.

Goldbacks are fungible. When the poop hits the fan and the dollar is devalued, Goldbacks will be great as a way to store and eventually spend them.

They need to be used as trading not stacking. Also ppl confidence and trust in goldback takes time. But technically better than fiat paper. Hopefully premiums drops

I love goldbacks and once they are more widely adopted which they will be they are amazing idea and I am stacking them in a sense but not for monetary gain or weight, Texas is about to jump on so I'm waiting to see what happens

They look cool, but Iā€™d rather stack metal. Like a little towerā€¦or preferably a big tower.

Goldbacks aren't good to buy if you're buying an ounce worth of goldbacks. The $1 goldbacks are absolutely great to buy if you buy just a couple hundred for gifts or to use as tender when SHTF.

I love that this money has real gold embedded in it. This money is a hard asset worth trading your Fiat money for.

Not stacking those, but might be fun to collect a few. I bet difficult to use these as currency. I rather see a gold content number (grams or milligrams) printed on these instead of a "face value".

No. But they are sure fun to collect, gift and use šŸ˜€

I think of it more as exchanging not stacking. Treat them like a different currency to diversify for the unknown, I "stack" currencies as a hedge against the USD. Rupees, GB's and Rubles to name a few.

That's really a question of whether you want to get in now. That's fine you can stack bullion if you want to buy a house during hyperinflation but.....Good luck buying a bucket of beans or a rifle with 1oz of gold when it goes to $30,000 an oz.

Each GB I own has gone up $1. Yes, you can stack them. I do and I don't. Basically, I hold them like I would hold cash. Except, my GBs have gone up and my fiat is down. In my case, I use a portion of my disposable income to buy and hold GBs. You do you. ā¤āœŒ

If paper money is collectable why not bills that are made out of 24k gold ? People pay big $$$ for even new bills that are low serial numbers or whatever.
