I used to talk to them and they would answer me back! We had a lot in Havre de Grace where I worked when I was in the National Guard. They winter in the south, like in the Caribbean and come back to the same exact nest every year. The babies stay up here for their first winter and then go south the next year. They are really fascinating raptors and I read everything I could get my hands on about them!

Osprey are beautiful and we have lots of them here in Florida…I love watching them in the nest with babies…if sun is shining and hot, mom or dad will spread their wings to shade the babies ❤

We have those ospreys here on Chickamauga lake in Soddy Daisy nesting on top of Light poles at some ballfields and I love watching them dive in the water and catch fish. They are amazing.

They are amazing sea hawks. I’ve witnessed them catching huge fish that look bigger than they are and toting them off like nothing.
