My mum nearly drowned, in a whirlpool while visiting USA, she said that after a while, it was kind of peaceful, she accepted she was gonna die, and just thought about her fiance, my dad, and prayed(she is religious). But the whirlpool spat her out just in time. That’s her Grand Canyon white water rafting experience. She often white water rafts with us when we were kids
