I wouldn't listen to anyone who has made money in the past 10-15 years. These people made money during a money printing era. They would still be making money even if they had a bunch of losses. Let's see if they can make money when the market is doing bad. That will tell you how well these people are at actually at making money.

Idk anything about nfts or sports cards, so I wouldn’t buy those, but I’ve regularly made 1.5x to 2x on my money from flipping sneakers. If you know what you’re doing it’s hard to miss. It won’t make you rich because you can’t really scale the volume, but it’s a great way to make extra cash that you can then put towards more standardized investment vehicles. Not the best take from Kevin here.

I made money selling NFTs in 2021/22, and I'm buying NFTs when I hear these types of people laughing. So they're both right, just the timing is off. Good indicators

I have flipped some of these things. If you are investing for the long term there’s a 99.9% chance you’re a bag holder or it wasn’t worth the opportunity cost. I could probably count on one hand how many of those items I’d keep for more than a year. I’d rather quick flip for X% and move on to the next thing.
