We are testing to impact drivers… One with a double anvil, hammer design, and a new one that I just bought on a recommendation with a triple ambo hammer. I wasn’t sure how the performance would compare, so we tested them back to back. What do you think?

It definitely sounded different, I think it was faster. Metabo HPT is underrated! Love their table saw and framing nailer

I had an Hitachi drill driver 12v about 20years ago. Until the batt wouldn’t charge it was the strongest lightest drill I have ever owned at any price.

Comparing a bottom of the range tool to a top of the range, ah it never gets old

The dewalt you had in your video is the base line model. Try the dewalt three speed impact and it will out perform all the rest.

No question about the Metabo putting the screw in faster but I can't get over that it's 2.5AH battery is the size of a 5AH.

The legendary Hitachi/Hikoku/Matebo WH18D. In production since 2016.

Performance wise I suppose it’s “better”. IMO it comes down to price point and how many battery systems I want to lug around.

I have the 18v metabo. Not impressed actually. Seems like a tool that will last long but not powerful enough like dewalt makita

I want to get the new hydraulic one from Milwaukee but there's no way of buying it to a new battery system...

Your asking if the newer one with superior technology is better than the older worn out one? Anyone's guess

Definitely more power. HOWEVER, gonna have to hone that power so you don't drive that too deep.

Looks good. Fantastic deal at L@#=s-$99 with 2 batteries and charger!!I just paid $134 for a bare Dewalt(which I have lots of batteries for).Have you tried a Dewalt dedicated screw gun? Mine puts my Dewalt impact away -DCF622B. Made for metal roofing but works great with GRK screws on wood, too, once you get the hang of it.

I’m a bit annoyed at dewalt. My tools are all dewalt so stuck with them but always have issues with the spring breaking in the chuck and not holding bits.
