Yeah I learned this one. I once had so many plugins on stems (especially vocals) that it just thinned them out terribly and the changes happened over a period of time so I didn't realize it until one day I disabled all of them to test. So now I try to stick to just a few.

I’m realizing that half the time the samples you pull off websites, and from other producers, are pretty good to go and just need side chaining, or minor eq adjustments to blend with other sounds
