Police MONITORED Him For 18 MONTHS!? #USvTuggle #TrueCrime #LawyerReacts

Part one: US v. Tuggle case... The police monitored Travis Tuggle for over 18 months so they can eventually get a search warrant. Without monitoring him for so long, they did NOT have enough evidence to request a search warrant from a judge.

Although illegal substances were found in Tuggle's possession, the problem of this case is when are police allowed to monitor people? When does spying on citizens go too far? Should police be able to monitor someone's home 24/7 for 18 months WITHOUT a warrant? More videos to come on this case, but check my YouTube channel for the complete video if you're curious about what happens.

Illegally obtained evidence isn't evidence.

Spying, harassment, entrapment, and violating his rights to privacy. They had no right to do this.

This sets precedent, its legal and allowed to monitor police and their homes in this exact same way. They are the ones who opened this Pandora's box, they will not like what comes out.

Crazy how some police get mad when you record them abusing their power out in public but then do something like this

Illegal surveillance of any citizen is NOT admissible in any court.

I'm under the assumption that we, and the police can legally record anything we can see from public....

Any operation that goes on that long should have the approval of the DA and review of a judge no matter if it is in a public area…

It sounds like a form of harassment. I'd now sue for emotional damages because I'd be scared they're constantly following and watching me without probable cause.

Hell yeah! They were "searching " for "ammunition" against him!!!

Nope. No expectation of privacy in public

This would set a precedent of the government being able to record every house 24/7 because they might find probable cause eventually

18 months to get enough for a search warrant? Sounds like they weren’t getting enough to be investigating him in the first place

As a retired cop and someone that wrote search warrants, this isn’t legal based on what you have said

The real question is, can the people sue for this?

Your financial wisdom, Stacey Neal Brooks, has forever changed my life. I'm indebted to you for liberating me from debt, managed to grow a nest egg of around 70,000 to a decent $380,000 in less than a month . I will enthusiastically share your genius with all who will listen!

They should have been arrested and charged. All of them should have gotten 25 to life in prison.

The courts dont do that to ordinary prisoners. Cops test the limits of legality to see what they can get away with.
