This year I've played Agricola, Catan cities and knights, Splendor, and Puerto Rico a lot, but ended the year in a 2 day multi game marathon starting with Wingspan, Codenames, Heat, Feast of Odin, and Azul! Started with Betrayal at House on the Hill. Wrapped up with closing out a campaign of Clank Legacy.

Happy New Year! We went from The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Adventure Game to Sunflower Valley. Didn't get as many plays in this year due to having a little dude running around!

Both my first and last games of 2023 were new at the time!
My first game, Evergreen, has become a great filler that we brought out plenty of times because it’s easy to learn and teach, but heavy gamers still appreciate the strategy you can put into it.
My last game was Terra Nova, which is almost not new in that I’d played the other three games in the series already, so it was just learning about the small differences. I think there’s one rule from base Terra Mystica that was eliminated that we decided to retain, but otherwise we think it’s a pretty solid version that makes it much easier to teach this series of game to new gamers, so I think it’s a win. 👍

I ended the year on Castle Panic (someone else's idea). Better games on New Year's, and Eve, were Blood On The Clocktower, Startups, Skulls, and Archduke. Through the year, some highlights were C.V., Hooky, Stay Cool, Pioneer Days, Smartphone Inc, Clank!, and Arctic Scavengers.
