Found these in my compost a while back and at first, I didn't know what they were but when I found out I stared at them for a couple hours just because of how numerous they were.

We sold nematodes at an organic garden store. They were in a sponge kept in the fridge. You'd cut off a square according to the size you are trying to get rid of pest insects in your soil. These nematodes will eat all soft body insects except earth worms.

Nematodes are one of TWO types of required microbes for plants to grow, meaning for human survival. Protozoa are the others. The feeding on bacteria and fungi, which both nemas and protists do, are what is actually plant available and without these present in soils plants don't grow (without using gross synthetic garbo).

i found what i think is a nematode in moss water while looking for waterbears, as well as a much bigger worm, so big i could see its blood pumping through the microscope.
