Yeah any drastic change like that should be attempted for a year, at least, first to live like a local to test that waters properly. To experience all seasons. Being on holiday does not equal real life.

Guilty here: I have high expectations for Portugal continuing to have drastically less surprise mass shootings than I have to worry about here in the US 😢 Thanks to the Global Peace Index I am fairly sure this is an expectation based in reality but I will still keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏼😅
