Judge Andrea Darvas sentenced Cristopher Ruvalcaba, 21, to at term of 12 and a half years in prison, while Joe Aguilera, 19, received a sentence of just over ten years. Prosecutors had recommended sentences of just over 14 years for both defendants.
Ruvalcaba and Aguilera shot Christopher Wesolowicz in the back multiple times after he and wife, Mary Wesolowicz, returned to their car and interrupted the burglary in November 2022.

Who cares? If there's 17 and 20, they took a man's life and you gave them below recommended sentencing for murder. What the heck man? I'm telling you judges in this country. Man, not all of them. I've known some good judges, but there's a lot out there. That or just trash and the setting is. It takes an act of state Congress in the state senate to have them removed.
