I love to combine games for transport using "deck boxes" of various sizes. And, I don't have to be as careful with the box, because the deck box can always be replaced...

This is the way! When I travelled last year I packed Machi Koro, Splendor, Century, Spicy, Love Letter, Hive Pocket, and Ganz Schon Clever all in the Machi Koro box!

I have a bag that fits into my backpack, which counts as my personal item and goes under the seat in front of me. Taking the games out of boxes I have been able fit well over a dozen games into it when I visited my parents on summer vacation the past two summers. It will be stuffed with small quick games for our trip to Hawaii this summer. Iβm sure we will have some downtime in the houses just relaxing.

I always get a free checked bag, and I always pack light enough to only bring a carry on, so I just stuff my board game travel bag and check it for free.

I need more tips on packing efficiency! I brought Green Team wins, a deck of cards, Azul travel edition, and St Malo in my carry-on. Want to go smaller next time but those were the smallest I had and we had fun!!!

If I go on a road trip I just bring my board game bag and stuff that full of games, but I never stuff other games inside different boxes. Recently I had a plane trip and decided to use this method of multiple games with one box. It was a lot of fun to think of games for different occasions that I could fit into one box of My City π it is certainly worthwhile doing, although my wife was horrified at the thought of all the components being jammed into one box! (let chaos rain! π
