BTW.... Thank you for the time and effort you put into the video you prepare. I cannot tell you how helpful and valuable these videos are for IT people that are looking to grow in IT and have very little time to do so. You do an awesome job at it. Keep up the great work in 2013 and have a very prosperous new year. Enjoy your cool new clock! :)

Hi Muhammad- Thanks for your input. At the end of the video, the clock is showing 9:04 and 2 seconds. The bottom row is seconds, the next row up is minutes. Thanks, Keith

That is awesome, Keith. Didn't know that existed. My wife was making fun of me because on asked for Cisco related items for Christmas. You know....books, switches, routers.... normal among us IT dudes.... this is UNIQUE. I showed her and i tild her I WANT ONE! She rolled her eyes....Be happy! Your wife gets IT! Happy holidays!

It is a 12 hour clock, so it was 9:04 (at the end) being shown on the clock. Nice work to you and all who submitted your input on it. Thanks, Keith Barker

Hi Eric- Yes there is a switch on the back, that when selected, uses the first 2 columns for the hour, next two for minutes and the last two for seconds. In that mode, the 1 position is on the bottom. Thanks, Keith.

If the either of the bottoms rows (seconds on bottom, minutes above that), it reminds me of a joke I heard as a child. Q: What time is it when a gorilla sits on a clock? A: Time to buy a new clock. ;) If either of the bottom two row of bits ever show more than 59, it would mean the clock is broken. ;) In the video, I think it shows the seconds actually reaching 59 before rolling over the minute row to the next value. Great question Orion. Thanks, Keith

On Amazon's site, do a search for "binary clock". Keith

This binary clock is weird. It's not like normal one. If it's read as 11:50:26, then the second part moves to 27, 36, 37, 4...

Hint: There are 2 modes it can use. In the mode shown in the video, the very bottom row is representing seconds.

9:04:02. I started counting my age in hex when I got to 32, so I could be 20 again.... This was cool for the first 9 years, but now I've just turned 2A :-(
