This is great if C clamps didn't exist...

If you made this same design, only instead of using a thread less than 1/2" or 5/8" it would be 5/8" or 3/4" and the piece's that do the clamping are 3/8" to 1/2" pieces this would make for a much more Durable Clamp that Would Stand up well over Time without much distortion or deforming ! 😮

Why not use a C clamp? They are already made, different sizes for whatever project your doing, and probably cheaper than building yourself

Nun ich hätte zwei Kugellager verwendet u. die Gewindestange aus gehärtetem Stahl benutzt! So wird sie sich verbiegen u. nicht wirklich halten! Diese Klemme wird beim ernsthaften Gebrauch bestimmt nicht halten! Für Kleinigkeiten Ok!
Diese Bauart ist zu instabil und da
sollte man an dieser Konstruktion noch etwas verbessern! Trotzdem eine einfache Sache!!

WENN MAN SICH DIE ARBEIT MACHT, SOLLTE MAN DOCH AUF DIE VERWENDETEN MATERIALIEN ACHTEN! 😉
