Would love a watch with lora , atak , and team status , heart rate , ammo, medial , health stats that could be seen by the rest of the team. Gps and all the usual Garmin stuff is amazing as well

I have a garmin solar tac. It actually helps me keep track of sleep and I has actually helped me improve my schedule. The rest of the details are barely used. I added a calculator because I suck at math

I would’ve liked my Epix to replace a handheld GPS with its map data. But it’s a little janky of an interface and can’t find an option to search addresses, which I’d find extremely useful as a first responder. The health tracking benefits are nice as well.

ATAC... SET UP mission parameters thru the watch if no atac or cell phone device, or for more covert operation can still have the mission, task, and nav, thru a inconspicuous watch.

PineTime. It's doesn't have a lot of functionally. It can count steps using the accelerometer and has a heart rate sensor. The OS on the watch is open source and you can flash whatever you want to it. Just keep in mind it has very little ram.

Watch Ultra. Mainly for time, calendar, appointments, messages and stuff like that. I hike a lot and I need a compass, navigation, information about the moon for night hikes with nods and thermal etc.

I would love the device to include some form of private, secure, encrypted, and decentralized vital-detection. Heart-rate, rhythm, aerobic threshold, blood-oxygen... Remember your demographic. The peace-of-mind that many of my personal vitals is easily-accessible on my wrist is huge, but I cannot risk my security.

A sub-$100 solar, date/time, timer, compass, GPS (lat/lon, UTM, MGRS) w/ optional bluetooth connectivity for the fancier stuff would be a game changer.
