Hey big guy, love your channel, iβm a cabinet installer, i think it would be good if gc kept a photo record of a jobsite after its been roughed in. when i get there, it takes all the guess work and risk out of the job. Guys look at me like, βthats your jobβ, βdont you know how to find a studβ, so easy to take a couple of pictures before drywall. What do you think? Am i being a pansy or does it just make sense to send an email with some pictures ?

I'm closing in my carport now, my 1st time framing, and I lined up top plate screws with the studs. Just seemed like the smart thing to do. Glad I was right.

For yourself it must be so frustrating having "tradesmen" that don't do simple carpenter apprentice level practice such as nailing second head plate on the studs.

Ha, favors for the other tradesmen! Itβs a good idea, but sadly it will probably never happen. I am a mason, and nothing ever works out the way it is supposed to.
