This is a video from the eviction of Wendover Active Resistance Camp (WAR camp). It is a woodland protection site protesting against HS2 and its gargantuan ecological, environmental and social cost.

WAR Camp has been there since Jan 2020 on land owned partly by the council and HS2 Ltd by the A413 London Rd, Wendover HP22 6PN.

HS2 Ltd used libels claims of a "30 strong plank welding mob" to persuade Buckinghamshire County Council to lease the land to HS2, so that they could evict.

However, both the court and Buckinghamshire County Council have been provided with video evidence of incidents in the report which showed the protestors were victims of violence not the other way round.

On Thursday 7th October, HS2 Ltd and Secretary of State for Transport lodged a possession order. The order was posted to WAR camp on Friday 8 October containing factual errors

The land hs2 acquired through lies is beyond Limits defined in the HS2 Act of Parliament 2017.

The eviction began on Sunday 10th Oct and is going to be a long one. Those at war are committed and include veteran campaigners like Swampy Dan who have been tunnelling since the 90s.

The whole camp since the beginning has been set up in such away to resit eviction from the private security company the National Eviction Team. There is a 15m tower, tree houses . Lock-ons through out every building and a network of tunnels beneath it.

With the tower now been removed the remaining protesters have gone underground!
