Same as iPhone. My iPhone 12 sometimes freezes when I use certain apps or sometimes when swiping the screen, it lags for a sec then goes back the way it was. So I guess its normal.

2 times happened to me. it sometimes occurs when the screen is locked in an app that checks fingerprint to open. like Samsung pass, WhatsApp (with fingerprint authentication )

This seems to be a problem with android phones in general. I’ve had a Samsung note 10 and it froze up multiple times. I then got myself a iPhone 12 but went back to android with the Pixel 7 pro. Both android phones had the problem, the iPhone not even once. It got so bad on my pixel that I traded it in again for a iPhone. Never had this problem again.
