Being saved as a Jew is called a Messianic Jew. My wife is one.

His hands and feet will be pierced (Psalm 22:16), along with His side. (Zechariah 12:10). He will be crucified with thieves (Isaiah 53:12), and his executioners shall cast lots for his clothing (Psalm 22:18). They will give him gall and vinegar to drink (Psalm 69:21), but unlike the other’s crucified, none of His bones will be broken (Psalm 34:20). In the end, they’ll bury Him in a rich man’s tomb (Isaiah 53:9), but He will rise from the dead (Psalm 16:10), and ascend into heaven (Psalm 68:18).

Amen! This is one of the very painful things I've dealt with in my life... knowing that my own community would often rather shun me for my belief in Yeshua. However, I've come to accept fully that believing in Yeshua in no way takes away my ancestry, culture, and heritage. Being Jewish is the cornerstone of who I am. It always will be. No can take that away.

Paul made it clear in 1 Corinthians 7:18 that Jews were not to try to become non-Jews (be "uncircumcised") when they came to faith in Jesus. Just as Gentiles were not to become Jews (be circumcised).
