So happy to see your alternative for the Nordoli headboard. Could you provide a detailed diagram of how you mounted to bed frame, bolt sizes, number holes drilled….I’m not an expert at these and since your bed is still standing firm would like to have the same positive result.

This is a great idea. I have a window so will take your idea with a slight modification. I'm not going to drill completely through the headboard for the two upper bolts where the braces attach so they won't show on the finish side.

Hey. Thanks for this great idea. I have been trying to find a solution that doesn’t involve mountain the headboard to the wall. Did you have to make holes on the bed so that the bolts would go through? And what size are the bolts, are u using the same ones that came with the package? Or did u have to buy bigger/longer ones?
