I have a question please about form i130 for uscis : when I wrote my home address and mailing address as a petition and then in the question where does the beneficiary intend to live when heāll come to me as my husband I also wrote my same home address but after I submitted the form during the processing time I changed my home address and I moved to another location to live and I donāt know actually if this can be a problem for us or I can fix it in next step of NVC ? Hi Mandy, our family member received a 221(g) notice about four years ago and was asked to submit additional documents to the officer. However, there has been no response or updates since then, even when checking the progress of the visa application after we submited the other documents the officer requested.I am not sure if the officer forgot about this case.
When we are filling out visa applications for other countries, if there is a question asking if you have ever been denied a visa, i understand it is important to answer truthfully. In this case, I understand my family member did not technically receive a visa denial, but rather a request for additional documents that was not followed up on. So how to answer the application question for other country like Canada"Did you receive a denial of your visa application from another country" yes, or no? Thanks.

Applied for a J1 and my application had to go through administrative processing because of the dates indicated in the DS 2019 form. consular said it wasnt gonna be possible to give visa within those 3 days due for the expiry of my DS. Another friend in India had an expired DS and was given visa straight away.

(F2b) We were interviewed on June 7. I and my 7yo derivative were approved but my other derivative, who is 16yo, was asked to fill out eDS-5535 and her status now is refused. The instruction given to us was to submit it together with her passport but since it was an online form, nothing can be submitted yet.
May I know how long does it take and do you have any advice on what to do next?

I have studied Chemistry in Iran. I have published some papers in my field which couldcnotribute me to get a PhD program admission from US. However, I do not intend to study PhD. I am a F2 Visa applicant now, and I am afraid that due to my academic background, visa officer suspect about my visa abuse and believe that I will change my visa state to F1 in the US.
How can I persuade the officer that I will not study there, and how can I achieve my F2 visa without any suspicious problem.
Also, recently I have survived from breast cancer and I believe that offering my medical documents to the officer will help me convincing him/her I will not try to change my visa state to F1 in the US for studying chemistry as my major.

Was put into administrative process in march 29th after my interview but on Thursday I was called to go and verify my certificate from the issuing office and send it to the embassy via email which I did, is it a normal thing in the process and how soon can I expect approval?

Hey Mandy. Thank you for the insightful content. I'm a dv 2023 winner. My mother went to court to request that I be given a birth certificate as I live abroad and the court proceedings went on well. But unfortunately, my mom then fell sick and passed 3 months later. Now, the authority provided a birth certificate for me but the place my mother was supposed to sign (as an informant) remained empty. Will that birth certificate be accepted during my dv interview? I have the death certificate.

I am really confused I don't know what I should now as I got rejection on last Wednesday they just asked me these questions and I answered
Officer:When did u completed your 12th?
Me : I have completed my senior secondary in 2021.
Officer: What you did after?
Me: well officer, I wanted to do my bachelor on that time but in order to study in fast paced environment of USA i decided to first make my foundation by getting familiar with computer science fild so I did a vocational course in computer application.
Officer: How many universities did u applied?
Me: Two universities one is Wilkes University and second is Georgia Southern University
Officer: Why you are not studying in Georgia Southern University?
Me: when I compare both universities I have find Wilkes university provide me better learning experience and most in demand languages with upgraded labs and their research foundation in science so this makes my first preference of wilkes university only.
It was my interview pl tell me what mistake I did even I was dressed up formally nd smile while wishing him good morning officer

Mandy could have been a bear sometimes in the past which she repeatedly mentioned in other videos. I feel very sorry for Chinese people who had interviews with her or tried to remind her anything later because it could easily bring out in her mind an image of bear being poked by someone who did everything that she said even if it was not in the instructions for that interview.

Totally agree that an applicant should try to "avoid administrative processing" like you say in the video. But, I just want to clarify from my time as a visa officer, that that means being extremely prepared for the interview and having all of your information ready to go, not trying to trick or hold anything back from the visa officer. The first option will get you a grateful and agreeable visa officer that will try their best to work with you because they see you are trying your best to follow the rules. The latter option, if discovered at the interview or anytime later in your life, will get you refused quickly, some extremely harsh case notes that will follow you around forever, and at worst a permanent ban for giving false and misleading information. So yes, avoid administrative processing, but do so by being prepared by doing things like meeting with Mandy and ensuring that you are ready to go. Never lie to or deceive the officer or it will end badly for you.
