That was me! Peaks has a weird button straddle rule where Rosey had ultimate last action which made this hand weird. I 3bet light with KQs this hand, get two callers of 60, then it’s on Rosey who jams on the button. Both ppl fold and with all that dead money it’s 320 for me to win 1k so I figured I’d gamble. Obviously it sucks to lose but that’s poker!

I won the first biggest pot of my life by default, i was 19 years old the pot was 2,500$ which meant 40 million dollars at that time for me. I had a ace high flush and the other guy had a full house. He showed the table his hand first even though it was my turn to show first, and threw his cards in a folding motion towards the rest of the deck face up. The pitboss came in and declared that even though he had the winning hand, he threw his cards away in a folding motion before i had time to properly show mine and i won 2500$. This whole time i protected my cards, always protect your cards you never know what can happen. Kudos to the guy for buying me my first gaming pc setup.
