I’ve used the fiskars 2 in 1 for over a year now. Love it but the issue it has is the drywall dust hast a tendency to jam up and make the utility blade slide difficult. Not impossible just finicky requiring multiple attempts to retract or protract the blade fully. Blowing it out good or cleaning fixes it. Which being able to open it up so much and easily helps and saves it big time. Especially gets bad with over head cuts. Wondering if this would suffer the same fault. I have hope that it would do better with the more open body design. I could see that blade release getting jammed up and super difficult after a bunch of drywall dust exposure though… Thoughts? I would be interested to hear a report back after 6 months too.
