"mischino" is also used in Sicilian meaning "poor thing", and there are many more arabic derived words in this language

Miskin is also used in Turkish, but in the meaning of “lazy”. For poor, we use “fakir”.

"They're not Hebrew words, these words have come from arabic. All these words also exist in Turkic, persian" I was writing all this information and in the end of video you said it yourself 😂😂🤣🤣🤣

Fun fact, in Sicilian dialects "mischinu" (pronounced as "miskinu") means exactly "poor thing". Interestingly, the Italian word "meschino" sounds similar but bears a completely different meaning (=petty, selfish)

They are also present in Kazakh. But I guess they derived from Arabic. Aqyr Ğalam Qurban

A stone fell off my heart when you finally mentioned Arabic 😆 Because Hebrew influence on Malay / Indonesian is something unheard of. I know all of these words because one of my native languages was also heavily influenced by Arabic (and Persian too but I digress).

For me, the most striking, and perhaps the most important, is "Shalom" and "Salaam".

Hebrew and arabic are both semetic languages so they would have some similarities and when the arabs traded with indonesia, they influenced that region as well

Miskin has different meanings from one country to another, and All are correct. Miskin comes from the root s k n, which means calm\quiet and immobile .. from this meaning came the word Miskin, which means poor . The one who does not work and the quiet person is not known by anyone .. In some languages it means "lazy" and this meaning is also correct.. Because the root s k n means comfort . Some words from the root s k n sakn - mskin - iskan = They all mean house (synonym of bayt) .. Which means calm, rest, and immobility (stability). "The pronunciation of a word varies depending on its position in the sentence" Sakina= An Islamic term meaning tranquility and comfort, it is also a common female name in Arabic/Islamic sukaan = population yaskun= reside/settle skoon\sakin= calm \quiet In all cases, the root S-K-N means rest / tranquility / immobility/ tranquility .. ect and from it came different words.
