Nothing wrong with creating art the way it makes you want to create it! I personally donโt use loops because I enjoy designing my own sounds. I feel more in control, because I understand physics of sound, why it sounds like it does etc. makes me feel empowered. To me loops are boring in general, but once in 5 tracks I will have at least one loop just because often they sound great.
