As an AGR, I was incredibly fortunate to get a LTC battalion command (MTO&E). So I would definitely agree with all of the factors as they are laid out. I met all of those factors (resident AWC) and was selected in the zone (one of only three). In my opinion, this rings true whether you are a TPU/M-Day or an AGR.
