The NORFED Liberty Dollar was created as an alternative currency and the government didn't appreciate it. This "legal tender" wasn't so legal after all. This is a brief introduction to these interesting pieces in the world of numismatics. Whenever I find them at coin shops and coin shows I snatch them up. Sometimes I even find them in junk silver bins.
