It makes perfect sense for me, I don't know why some people are saying "nonsense" Jesus is God's word incarnated and the Holy Spirit is God's Spirit, therefore, they are God.

What a beautiful proof that Christians need to ask GOD to explain THE TRINITY because otherwise all these human explanations make followers of other religions (esp.Moslems) shake their head at such foolishness

The "Spirit of God" (Holy Spirit) is just an EXTENSION of the almighty God! This means that in "God" and "Spirit of God" there exists ONLY ONE GOD'S MIND. For ex. in the verse here the "spirit of Elias" is of course not a person DISTINCT from Elias!
"He shall go in the SPIRIT and POWER of Elias to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children..."
You can compare that verse to:
"The Holy SPIRIT shall come upon thee, and the POWER of the HIGHEST shall overshadow thee so...". In other words the Holy Spirit is the EXTENSION of God who is responsible for Mary's pregnancy. No " Lord who gives life" - who is supposed to be almighty, but uses the power of the Highest instead - exists. Thus, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the same as blasphemy against the Father. Since God and the Spirit of God share the same ONE God's mind, of course Jesus can only have ONE relationship with the Father, He cannot have TWO of them (with the Father and with an alleged non-existing third divine person). Thus, no third divine person exists, as reiterated many times by Jesus, He is only with the Father ("I am not ALONE because the Father is with me") i.e. just Father and Son.

I dont believe God is a trinity, but i still believe that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is Jesus Christ! As Christ declared the name, not names..........God could be a whole army if He chose but " hear oh Israel, the Lord your God, is one Lord"!

Lol that’s horrible and won’t convince a 5 year old child. Christianity is an abrahamic religion, when Abraham came and Moses after him they taught people that god is one, they didn’t mention anything about the trinity nor the son.
