An oil change on my Porsche Cayenne will run about $300. Quicky oil change places will strip out your drain plug threads and do otjer horrible things. I dont trust them 🤣
Instead I DIY my oil changes and with these ramps and oil catch pan from AutoZone it makes an easy job even easier.

Amsoil Z-ROD high zinc oil will keep your cams and everything else like new. The EPA tells people we can use high zinc oil with catalytic converters or it will harm them and your emissions system which is a total lie. Only time high zinc levels would hurt the cats and emission system is if the engine burns a lot of oil. I asked Lake Speed Jr who u to work for Joe Gibbs Driven Oils who is one of the best oil specialists in the world told me so. Every car I have new to vintage look inside brand new and the cam. Had a guy change the timing belt on my 2001 Camry 4 cyl that at the time had 104k miles and he took pictures of its dual overhead cams because he couldn’t believe it how new they looked wanted to show me and ask me what oil I was using. It now doesn’t also use as much oil between changes. Runs very smooth and quiet.😊

I paid for an oil change for my Cayman one time. It was the last time. Plugs, oil, and especially the brakes are very easy. The water pump wasn’t easy but only because of the tight space between the pump and the firewall. There are very few repair jobs around the house or on my vehicles I don’t do myself. Watch a couple of YouTube videos and grab your tools!
