Alex is one reason I chose to play. Such a unique approach. His tone progressed and changed with every album.
His parts are often far more involved than they first seem. His touch and sense of time aren’t like anyone else.
If someone built an Alex Lifeson pedal to cover it all…..you’d end up with something a Fractal or Kemper. He experimented with effects similar to The Edge….but came from guys like Townshend & Cream-era Clapton.
Yeah…..this is a Lifeson love fest. I regret nothing.
