I don't think Jesus trusts us considering our ways lead to death. Since if he did trust us then we would not need God to tell us what is sin and what is not. He would just trust that we would know. This kind of message of God trusts us will plant seeds that tell us" Well if God trusts me then maybe I should trust me" and well now you forget about God. Trust in Jesus and his power since, āI am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." John 15:5
