I enjoyed it but hated how Edmund was a bad guy. Unless they somehow spin it as he was forced to work for nerva and he and Helena become friends later, they ruined his character development

Don't care, no franchise goes exactly like the comics, games, or stories; still, good show. If your sole focus is just how it was originally made, then of course you are not going to enjoy it.
Anyone who constantly tries to compare it just misses how good it could have been given the chances, but sure, I'll get trolls down below insulting me and others who actually like this show.

The series is rushed compared to the story...Helena was friend's with Rockwell first...the series made them instant enemies...the origins of the characters on the ark/island should have been priority...However the series's is still worth watching

I actually think it was a pretty good attempt at an ark show. It was very character driven and it was more about the characters than the game and lore itself which I think benefited it hugely. While not everything was fleshed out enough they did a good effort at giving some understanding to each character by showing their previous life and what they went through, I think the antagonists could have been better, however pacing and the actual storyline was pretty well done. Definitely better than I thought it would be.
Really not understanding the whole ‘woke’ complaint about this, the main character is a lesbian other than that there’s nothing woke about other as it really doesn’t go very political at all. Really bizarre complaint people are seeming to pass

Whilst I don't mind, black female lesbian, but when they added in the first ep where they made white man as the bad guys. That's when they got to me. Hope the rest of the eps are better.

The pacing and the child completely ruined it for me. At the beginning Helena meets Bob and he dies almost immediately. They knew each other for 30 mins and through the entire show she acts like she lost a close friend. The child was annoying asf. Just constantly annoying. There was a scene in episode five where her dad was shooting the brontos with the tek gun, and the whole time she was pointing and saying “there!, shoot there!”. MF THE DINOSAURS ARE 20ft TALL AND HE HAD A MAGIC GUN WITH A AUTO LOCK ON GUN. WHY DID THEY HAVE HER AS A CHARACTER.
