It's really similar. If they sampled then it should be mentioned in the credits. Kpop is kind of loosing it's originality. It's not just kpop but the whole music industry

Personally I feel that using the word “Sampled” is an understatement for what this was. They literally copied even the lyric and flow “Ea-sy”. What I don’t respect is when producers “sample” other underground/not as mainstream artist songs then not even have the audacity to make a slight homage. For example Doja Cat-Streets was a sample of B2K-Streets Be Callin or 6lack-Just In Time For The Weeknd was a sample of Wicked Games by The Weeknd. Respectfully Newjeans collaborated with Powerpuff Girls to make Super Shy since they got permission to Sample their theme song.

It's not sampling. Sampling is incorporating a segment of another song into yours. It's definitely similar, but I think they changed it enough for it to not be technically plagiarism. They might settle out of court for it though.

There is sampling and similarities between songs is the entire music industry. There are so many songs and melodies that its difficult to make something completely original now. Honestly, so what? The song is still enjoyable and it has their own spin on it. This is just accusing them because theyre facing a lot of backlash. Every artist has music that has similarities to other songs
