Now you want to blend in the amount of vocal you want from the heavily compressed vocal & the clean vocal

while serbans assistant john hanes has stated they generally dont start with parallel compression, other mixers like jaycen joshua are big fans and will often use eq to further treat the parallel signal

I use it on every mix
I am at 21 number one songs worldwide right now. I have another one in the charts in Australia. It works.

For people second-guessing the before and after, when itโs played alone like this, itโs probably better with a little less attack like before, but when you add a bunch of sounds and instruments in, youโll really see the blend in the after!
