I own the Extreme 3, & I can speak from experience that if you go into the JBL app & bring the treble down to -1 it really brings out the midrange & bass better. Iโve watched reviews on the Extreme 4, & all I can say is save your money & get the Extreme 3. The Extreme 4 has boosted upper bass, but the Extreme 3 overall has more lower bass.
