One big thing to remember when styling these weird, awesome pieces is the tone of the color. Is it warm or cool? Does it have notes of pink or purple? If this particular black blue based, red based or green based? There’s lots of amazing combinations for every piece, but the tone is what matters visually and subconsciously. If you pair a warm toned green with a cool toned white/grey, the whole outfit could fall apart. The blue bra was cute, but the grey in it was a bit more blue toned and the sweater definitely has tones of pink. Since the sweater is warm toned the white bra looked amazing, and the skirt was just this side of warm, so the outfit works in that sense! I can’t wait to see what other cool stuff you have in store!
