I faced a similar situation with my braces, have been in my braces since March of 2020, I’m now 24 years old and I still have them on, I fainted in my kitchen and smashed my mouth of my hardwood floor, woke up 2 minutes later to see my front left tooth was on a 45 degree angle, my root ended up dying however I had an immediate root canal procedure and managed to save my real tooth, nearly 3 years later and all is well and my doctor saved my natural tooth! Super blessed!

I was a gymnast and 15yrs ago, i did a double back dismount off the bars. I pulled into the bar and slammed my face into it. My braces shredded through my bottom lip and I needed 45 stitches from the inside out (my dad is a dentist and did them!).
I’ve needed 3 RCTs on my lower anteriors but still have my natural teeth 🎉

Always thought of braces being equivalent to armor for your teeth! My friend got his jaw absolutely wrecked back in the day because of a car accident, and none of his teeth came out because of his braces.

My friend plays softball, and she had braces for awhile. Two weeks after she got her braces off, she got hit in the mouth by a softball during practice. It knocked out her two front teeth and dislodged several others, and she had to get splints for a few weeks so her teeth could heal after being put back into place. She was really happy to be able to keep all of her natural teeth, and she's fully recovered! ❤😊
