Hi girls, I work virtually opposite the Barrs factory of dreams. All we see is a constant stream of trucks in Irn-Bru colours, with the logo THE BRU MUST GET THRU, entering and leaving, all day long.
Also, if a Scot offers you a can of 'juice', don't assume you're getting the healthy option. Juice refers to anything carbonated in a can...

You are officially Scottish now ladies and there is no turning back. It is called irn bru because it was originally made in the town of Falkirk which was famous for its number of foundries and the Barrs factory was right on their doorstep.

Irn-Bru is my favourite. I can't explain but it's the only fizzy drink that feels wet, I know that sounds mental but it's the best I can do. Also they do a Limited Christmas Edition that has Spiced Ginger and it's lush.

I must admit I'm not too keen on Irn-Bru - it does taste bubble - gummy ! But if you can get hold of anything by Tunnocks - their biscuits are the best !

That's the magic of Irn Bru....it tastes different every time you drink it....Candy floss (cotton candy in US), Cream Soda, Ginger Beer, Orangy, Bubblegum....they are all correct!!!!!
Best when chilled and drunk from a glass bottle and if you can get it in the 'ORIGINAL' recipe.
It's also a hangover cure!!!!

Ah, she said "bubblegummy" - which is exactly how i'd describe it sometimes. There's that slight bubblegum flavour but I can't quite put my finger on it.
