Ah, League is 30 tick rate (on most stuff I guess, so this is max). No wonder it feels so sluggish and weird even on "good connection". The times I've been lollipopped by "hook" hitboxes and caught by off-looking (visually clearly missed) skillshots make even more sense now.

The tick rate for slows used to be slower than tether tick rate. Most of the game "features" that feel counter intuitive or bad are usually really dumb tick rates.

Here is what most champs should actually do:
If you are not low walk into the champ that hit you. Most of the time that gives the enemy a feeling of „being in range“ After fighting them shortly (Most champs with a stun should just stun them) walk and/or flash away. Enemies in low elo often step a bit away after u walk in which makes it even easier to built distance.
