The parabolic vanes are for compound bows. When used with traditional bows, the vanes strike the rizer shelf or hand, kicking up and altering the trajectory of the arrow. Actual feathers đȘ¶ are used on arrows with traditional bows because they give when passing over the river shelf or hand

I'm not very familiar with Gold Tip but, how does a 500 spine arrow with that much FOC spine out of a bow of that weight? That's crazy!

Do you use that broadhead for practice or for hunting?

nice looking arrow set up. i also shoot a hill style, but im useing a 30 inch arrow, 400 spine same arrow as you, with a 150 grain broad head, 3 inch parabolic feather, ether a 3 or a 4 flech. i honestly like 4 feather more.

Hay Jason I'm really surprised knowing your bow stats , that that arrow isn't too weak, unless maybe you cut it down too 27 inches, what's your draw length? I'm just interested in understanding what more we can get away with

I assume you get nock-high bareshaft results? Iâve got 375 up front and canât quite get that arrow flat. It doesnât bother me, it flies like a frickin dart and hits hard. Iâve just resigned that when youâre 300+ grains up front, youâre going to come off nock high to a degree.
