With this beautiful cube roll, I can cut it how I like and it was much cheaper as a whole piece too!
I decided to cut this into a few different sized steaks, a roasting piece and then the off trim I sliced for stir fry meat!

At my store, the butcher cuts and repackages steaks to order. The kids and I like medium-rare steaks, while my wife likes well-done and a smaller piece.
My butcher will cut 3 regular and one thin for each package.
AND the meat is the cheapest in the area.

Why not buy the whole cow. It's only a few thousand but look how fresh it is. Just joking but that's not any cheaper its the same per pound.

Yes, you would think buying it whole and uncut would be cheaper than cut,trimmed and packaged... But not at Tasman Meats Moorabbin though. It was the same per kilo price didn't make sense to me.
