I'd be damned if I would be using any power tools to vibrate those rocks in an old abandoned mine. My luck? Collapse and death.

That seems like an awful lot of work for only 1.9 grams

Walk across the border from Mexico and the US government will pay you way more than what that little nugget is worth.

Really cool, but ide love to hear about how economically viable this would be based on how much you had to crush for the 1.9 grams

I've often thought about ALL those "easy picking" mines from back in the day that just got left for the next one..with the crazy gold prices and the fancy equipment these days MUST make some shafts defo worth it ?!? ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Less than $200 for a day of work not to mention energy to process, cost to get there, cost to get back to shop, cost of equipment, not to mention the other hidden expenses..Net Loss $1000!!๐Ÿ˜…

...AND to think....there were a couple mines that actually assay'd at 4000 ounces per ton back in the day....an ounce of gold in a pound of rock.....free mill.... i could not imagine being able to retire very well on a couple yards of material.

Seemed like wayyyyy too much danger and work for what you got. Watch some other prospector channels

I dont know how it works in America but in the uk theres no such thing as abandoned land or structure, prospecting in the uk is basically illegal without permission which is almost impossible to get ๐Ÿ˜ข
