for anyone this may help, i use denture cleaner in just a regular plastic cup and let it sit while i brush my teeth wash myface and do everything and a few minutes before i leave i go and rinse and they’re clean!

when i had a plastic retainer, i would use the cleaning tablets then let it soak in a cup of water, then my water flosser comes with a retainer cleaning tip which i use on a daily basis for food that may have still been in my teeth.

May i ask, after brace removal, there are many white lines of cracks in my front teeth (top & bottom). I think my ortho doctor did brace removal harshly :( Are the cracks dangerous? Can that cracks cause my teeth to break/split? Or can my teeth heal by themselves? Please tell me what should i do to reduce that white lines of cracks & how to prevent my teeth from breaking?😢

When i had a retainer I just put some mouthwash in the container and swapped it out when it got too dirty and I would wash the retainer before and after I use it

I work in a dentist office, best thing is to just buy any denture cleaner tablet that’s not intended for overnight soaking and leave your retainer in the solution (do not use hot water or you may damage your retainer) for just maybe -10 mins. Take them out and scrub with a toothbrush dedicated for that purpose only (not the one you use to brush your teeth). Rinse and they’re gonna be basically spotless, especially if you do this every time you go to bed and wake up (the same times you brush your teeth just do this while you brush). Hope this helps :) PS: I know this works since I am currently in Invisalign treatment myself :) also fun fact: same ingredients in these as in those water bottle cleaning tablets so just use 1 or 2 of these to clean your water bottles too (way cheaper and no scrubbing needed)!
